- Summary:
- A low-cost monolithic remote terminal stores interface (RTSI) for MIL-STD-1760A applications is presented. The UT1760A RTS is a single-chip solution to the cost and space problems in the mission stores interface (MSI). This device integrates a MIL-STD-1553B Notice II compliant remote terminal interface, a user-configurable IK X 16 static RAM, and logic to detect illegal subaddresses stipulated in table B-I in MIL-STD-1760A of Notices I, II, and III. In addition, a version of the device is available for System 2 applications via a bond-out option. Registers or discrete external signals control and monitor the UT1760A RTS. The device features continuous transmission loop-back compare, internal self-test mode, and RT-to-RT terminal address compare. The UT1760A RTS is housed in a 68-pin package (LCC or PGA); implementation uses UTMC's 3-micron CMOS standard cell library and double-level-metal technology specifically designed for military and aerospace applications
