- Summary:
- The topic of this paper is "how to reduce the crankshaft runout after machining processes and to control its final runout to meet the technical requirement "0.05mm" given on its drawing without straightening." This is an important manufacturing problem. In this paper, first, we present the principle of the combining processes runout relation of the crankshaft, and it is proved that the final runout of the crankshaft is determined by the finish grinding process of No.4 M.B.J; and second, then we present that the runout of the finish grinding process of No.4 M.B.J. can be reached to "0.05mm" by the test result. So we prove that the final runout of the crankshaft in meeting the technical requirement "0.05mm" is possib1e
