A new cartridge valve has been developed for use in the new Sundstrand-Sauer Series 90 axial piston pumps. The valve performs functions previously requiring several separate and different valves. This valve offers four functions to the closed loop system using the new Series 90 variable displacement pumps, Valve functions include the check valve function, the system pressure limiting function, the system pressure relief function and a system loop bypass function.
