Summary:
More advanced technique than Acoustic Intensity Method with two microphones was developed. The characteristics of this method is to measure the amplitude and phase distribution of particle velocity at the near-field of an object using three microphones.By signal processing based on these information, the vibration modes of noise sources and the far-field sound radiation patterns can be obtained simultaneously, which brings the remarkable improvement of research efficiency. This method was applied first to the speaker model to confirm the accuracy and usefully to the actual transmission of a truck
