- Summary:
- AbstractFlat flexible circuitry becomes a more common interconnection item on the consumer market. A programmable single to multiple crimping technology, to connect on flexible flat circuits, components as connectors, resistors, diodes and stranded leads, which readily accept differences in construction and lay-outs of flexible circuitry, specially the conductor differences of conductive pastes, bare or plated copper tracks or other materials. No special preparation to the circuitry is required and the availability of input/output designs are offered to the end user. This paper presents the results of an investigation, the evaluation of performance and reliability of the new developed flex crimp contacts. Finally, application methods for programmable single or multiple staking equipment are discussed
