Summary:
1) ABSTRACTResponding to trends of miniaturization and cost reduction in the manufacture of Automotive FM Stereo receivers, a Technological accomplishment has been to combine Multiplex Demodulator functions with a noise cancellor circuit in a single IC package. With the similarity of function and signal requirements of both FM Multiplex demodulation and Impulse Noise reduction, combining the two functions into a single IC simplifies the primary circuitry and improves the performance of the impulse noise reduction system. Included in the multiple function IC is pilot signal cancelling circuitry and an automatic low pass filter
