1) ABSTRACTResponding to trends of miniaturization and cost reduction in the manufacture of Automotive FM Stereo receivers, a Technological accomplishment has been to combine Multiplex Demodulator functions with a noise cancellor circuit in a single IC package.With the similarity of function and signal requirements of both FM Multiplex demodulation and Impulse Noise reduction, combining the two functions into a single IC simplifies the primary circuitry and improves the performance of the impulse noise reduction system.
