Summary:

Ten electric vehicles began service at two locations in Wisconsin at the start of 1983. These vehicles are fiberglass-body and lighter than other electrically-powered passenger cars available. Initial experience shows a substantially lower fuel use as well as higher range than the average EV in the test program sponsored by U.S. Department of Energy.
