Summary:
This paper presents an experimental and theoretical research on the torsional vibration of automotive power trains. A dynamic model for the power trains was developed, and all parameters of the model were evaluated with experimental data. Free and forced torsional vibration calculations were performed. Spectrum analyses were used in data processing. The effects of damper on diminishing the vibration were investigated experimentally
