Speed achieved in the "D/GT" class was 303 km/h (188.394 mile/h) Power developed by the 2.8L (170 in3) engine was 277 kW (372 hp estimated) at 6000 r/minutes Changes to the production engine were: reduced compression ratio (6.3:1), installation of a modified camshaft, installation of a fabricated exhaust manifold and intercooler, installation of the turbocharger, and fuel system modifications to increase fuel flow
