- This paper deals with the quality improvement of igniter hybrid IC by using the FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis). In the course of developing the igniter hybrid IC, we employed the FMEA method and thereby succeeded in developing a highly reliable hybrid IC with stabilized quality. It was also proved that the forecast of failure mode by using the FMEA method is very accurate
