Summary:
A new expression for the turbulent to laminar flame speed ratio in fully developed combustion in a spark ignition engine is proposed.The expression contains parameters related to the basic engine geometry and the inlet systems.Its use in a computer simulation indicates a good indication of the probable effects of changes in engine geometry on the combustion process
