Summary:
Given today's emphasis on quality, it is more important than ever to provide reliable product to the customer. As automotive electronics become more all-encompassing, this can become an increasingly difficult task. Electronic module testing at the time of production can be unnecessarily extensive, complex and expensive. Production testability should be "designed in" and the most extensive testing should be done as early as possible in the production process. A testing plan incorporating this philosophy and an example of its implementation is presented
