- Summary:
- Over the past six years, government inspection stations in British Columbia have been regularly conducting indoor vehicle noise measurements in order to enforce motor vehicle noise regulations. The program has worked well logistically but certain improvements in measurement procedures are currently being considered with the intent of making these procedures more consistent with recently developed national and international standards. It is hoped that prior to presentation of this paper at the 1981 SAE West Coast International Meeting, a quantitative assessment of past effectiveness and an assessment of proposed improvements will have been completed
