- Summary:
- A low speed, high torque hydraulic motor has been developed. This motor utilizes radial pistons with roller cam followers, a fixed cam and a rotating piston carrier splined to the output shaft. Oil routing is accomplished by a non-rotating manifold with lapped porting faces. A destroke device is provided which hydraulically retracts the pistons for disengaged operation.Mounting is accomplished through a high pressure pivot joint to allow the motor to be used for powered steerable wheels
