The fluorescent Indicator Panel (FIP) is now widely used in many automotive applications due to it's bright, eye-pleasing blue-green color and ease of driving.The recent development of multicolor FIPs has expanded many new possibilities in the automotive application product area.The brightness levels of available phosphors have been evaluated to consider their feasibility for automotive use. Brightness levels are an important characteristic, and new concepts are being developed to further improve brightness.These new concepts will be discussed
