Summary:
A well-designed seat is an essential part of a motorcycle, which can add value to the product, hi order to achieve more flexibility in designing a printed seat vinyl, a high weatherability transparent Polyvinyl choloride (herein after referred as PVC) film was developed and used on the surface of a seat vinyl. The newly-developed PVC has high weatherability and resistance to wear and abrasion, thereby increasing the value of the motorcycle seat. During the process of developing the transparent PVC, a test that can effectively measure the weatherability of a product in a more reliable manner was developed. The result of this test is correlated to the result of a conventional outdoor exposure test
