Summary:
NOCOLOK® flux is becoming widely accepted by automotive and other industries in the brazing aluminum. Nocolok brazed products include various aluminum heat exchangers such as radiators, oil coolers, air conditioning systems and heat sinks. This paper updates properties and performance of the Nocolok flux in various brazing processes. The results show that Nocolok flux has wide applications in flame brazing and induction brazing in addition to tunnel furnace brazing. Nocolok flux flame brazing eliminates the process for post-braze removal of flux residues, which is highly advantageous in cost savings and is environmentally friendly
