It will address the initial steps taken to secure state, federal and corporate funding for the project, and the obstacles that must be overcome when introducing an alternative fueled vehicle into a suburban school district. The intent of this paper is to inform individuals in similar positions of the benefits of switching from the conventional fuels to those that will meet the requirements of the Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990 (CAAA)
