A computer controlled all wheel steering system has been developed by Oshkosh Truck specifically for heavy vehicle use. The primary emphasis of this system is improving low speed maneuverability. Up to four steering modes are provided with programmable parameters that can be tailored to each application. A mechanical steering lock and numerous safety interlocks are provided to ensure the safe introduction of this new technology to heavy vehicles
