Summary:
S-Parameter characterization techniques are used to aid oscillator circuit design with embedded microcontrollers. Off-chip oscillator circuit design techniques are improved using these characterization methods. S-parameter characteristic data is taken and used to form an equivalent circuit model. The equivalent circuit model is then used to perform Spice simulations of the on-chip inverter and the off-chip circuitry that models the functionality of the oscillator circuit design
