- Summary:
- The influence of boundary conditions on the vibration transmission properties of tires is investigated in this paper. It is shown that these properties can be represented by a basic set of transfer functions of the free tire-wheel system. Using the modal synthesis method, the vibration transmission of tires subjected to various boundary conditions can be derived from this basic set of transfer functions
