Digital eletronic injection is used in automotive engineering to satisfy the ever increasing legislation for reductions in evaporative and exhaust gas emitted pollutants.Initial introduction was with Feed-Back carburettors and Lambda sensor, progressing to digital eletronic fuel injection SPI / MPFI (Full group and Phased Sequencial) for naturally aspirated and turbo charged engines.The autoadaptive strategy was introduced, to maintain the drive, emission levels and idle quality, by absorbing the differences in production engines, fuel quality and variations during the life of operation
