- Summary:
- Fiberglass reinforced plastic tilt hoods have being used worldwide as a reasonable alternative for low and medium production volume trucks with conventional cab construction. Following this design trend, Autolatina Brazil Truck Body Engineering developed for its new 12/14 ton "F" Series trucks an advanced plastic hood concept, where the front fenders and radiator grille were integrated to the main panel, resulting on a single skin panel to be made by the Resin Transfer Model process (RTM)
