- In connection with several on-going cell manufacturing programs the storage characteristics of nickel hydrogen battery cells are being evaluated. All of the cells in the study are of 65 ampere-hour capacity and contain the same number and types of electrodes. They differ in type of separator, operating pressure, type of precharge, electrolyte concentration and type of wall coating. Data are presented for some of the cells following storage for up to 15 months at warm and cold temperatures. A comparison of the electrical operating characteristics of cells before and after storage is made
