Summary:
In last few years there has been a great research in order to increase safety parameters by providing information of vehicle parameters to the user while driving on road. Many algorithms have been developed in order to assess the vehicle run time situations and enable vehicle ECU to take some decisions for autonomous driving. These algorithms make use of vehicle dynamics based on theoretical models. The proposed design will be capable of measuring various vehicle run time parameters like Vehicle mass, Steering angle et cetera and the external parameters like road gradient. Under the real time situation using the existing vehicle data, the road gradient while driving on the road is measured by the pitch angle using the gyro sensor and calculating the vehicle gradient with the height sensors installed, Steering angle sensors(SAS) are referred for steering angle measurement in order to develop and compile data of the running vehicle, that data will be accessible by the vehicle as well as the driver to comprehend for the vehicle safety under the run time situations, and preventive actions can be taken well in advance
