Summary:
The ball bearings used in EV''s and HV's have higher speeds and loads than ICE's.Generally, the life of ball bearings is calculated using L10. The oil film thickness is not considered in its life. Therefore, the temperature measurement data of the ball bearing outer ring was obtained, and the rolling surface temperature was predicted from the data using the basic equation for heat transfer. In addition, the oil film calculation was tried by EHL
