- Summary:
- In order to improve the drivability of passenger cars with Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT), and reveal the drivability evaluation system and feature indexes division criteria of automobiles under specific working conditions, a data-driven objective evaluation model for drivability evaluation is developed. At first, a novel objective evaluation tools for drivability is designed, including data collection model and signal analysis model. Then 11 specific working conditions of passenger cars with DCT are experimentally studied, including engine start, idle condition, static gearshift, crawling condition, starting condition , Tip in, Tip out ,Constant speed condition , constant throttle upshift condition, deceleration condition and shut off. A data-driven objective evaluation system for drivability is proposed. Besides, the starting condition and constant-throttle upshift are study as case studies to explore the evaluation indicators and their criteria during driving. Last but not least, the reliability and validity of the evaluation system and objective indicators and their division criteria are verified through subjective and objective consistency experiments. This research can be used as an important reference for drivability of passenger cars with DCT, and also provides a theoretical basis for evaluation of heavy duty vehicles, new energy vehicles and autonomous vehicles
