The mainfactors of vehicle comfort are vibration, noise, thermal comfort(temperature), air quality, light and ergonomics. In this contextCompressor Noise plays an important role in the comfort of thepassengers. Therefore, it's a big challenge for the automotiveengineer to find the source of noise and reduce the same during thedevelopment. The objective of this paper to understand the variouscompressors noise characteristic during static (i.e initialengagement of compressor) and dynamic condition (i.e duringcompressor running).
