- Summary:
- AbstractElectric powered vehicles rely on electric heater to heat the cabin of the vehicle. These heaters consume electric energy from the battery and cause depletion of the vehicle's range by 2040%. In order to extend the range of electric vehicles, we need to increase the efficiency of HVAC. EV has waste heat but the heat power is much lesser than internal combustion engine and heat source is separated physically. In order to utilize waste heat to achieve better efficiency, heat collection, heat insulation, pre-heating are necessary. Based on the new concept system, we examined the effects of fuel efficiency
