Summary:
In recent years, the competition among Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in automotive sector is observed to be predominantly high. OEM's show significant interest to enhance their competency level in market, developing various segments of vehicle, cater and attract more customers. So, all OEM's make efforts to shorten the vehicle development time and enhance their product performance on deploying latest technology available. vehicle is modeled as a mathematical model and analyzed for various performances which is called digital lot evaluation. Digital lot evaluation helps in achieving a shortened development cycle. Therefore, in digital lot evaluation, accuracy of evaluations plays most significant role.Prediction of Noise and Vibration (NV) performance of car body by analysis model is important way to shorten the design period. In recent years, precise analysis model was developed, which made it possible to predict NV performance of car body with high accuracy. In order to improve accuracy, the authors developed Finite Element Model (FEM) which is close to the physical model. The proposed Finite Element Model improved the prediction accuracy and well correlated to the test results
