- Summary:
- This paper will discuss an investigation that has been in process for over two years of the technical feasibility of the transmission of hydraulic power by the means of pulsating flow hydraulic concepts. A pulsating hydraulic system bears the same relationship to a continuous flow hydraulic system that an alternating current electrical system bears to a direct current system. The paper will discuss the basic system design concepts, components that are peculiar to pulsating hydraulic systems, and applications that may be considered for pulsating hydraulics
