Summary:
As part of any water pump development for engine cooling system, the interaction between materials with different coefficient ofthermal expansion is unexceptional. Though in very specificapplications where the coolant temperature is over 115°C severalfactors and variables can cause movement between parts because ofthe interference and coefficient of thermal expansion interactioncombined with engine vibration and external loads. These factors were listed and evaluated considering severalvariables being validated physically and by simulation resulting onan optimized method to enhance this kind of fixation
