Summary:
During the design and development of oil pumps, performance tests are required to provide accurate data about the oil flow and pressure relationships of pump under test. These tests are performed in test rig, which simulate the pump operation in the vehicle engine. The test rig is also an useful tool for the engineer, assisting in developing and new solutions testing. This paper describes the evaluation of performance results on the correlation in the use of the test fluid with the oils used in the final application
