- Summary:
- This paper describes the development of a ΔP system for measuring and controlling the mass of liquid hydrogen in a tank to an accuracy of better than 1%. Included are descriptions of the components, an error analysis, and test data. To illustrate the sensitivity and accuracy of the mass measuring system, a description of its use in measuring the weight of air in the empty tank is given. The paper also includes a discussion of the applicability of this system to various industrial measuring, metering, and control problems
