- Summary:
- The alarming increase in the scope and complexity of interference problems currently and in the foreseeable future is of concern to all cognizant engineers. This problem increase, however, is not a true barometer of the state-of-the-art of interference design and control techniques. One of the major factors that must be resolved to achieve major improvement in the interference picture is the developing dilemma where interference control techniques are far ahead of their implementation. This paper covers some of the contributing factors (for example, management methods, specification limitations, and so forth) which are currently limiting more rapid implementation of good interference control methods. It will outline a suggested set of goals for the interference control engineer to adopt and will attempt to incite interference control engineers individually and collectively to aid in the fulfillment of these goals
