- Summary:
- This paper presents the results of a study of the effect of fuel type on the temperature of the combustor liner of a vehicular type, regenerative gas turbine engine. The indications are that, at a given power output, combustor liner temperature increases linearly as the hydrogen content of the fuel decreases. Distillate fuels currently marketed in the United States vary widely in hydrogen content. In terms of liner temperature limited power, the hydrogen poor fuels are only 40% as good as the best
