The nature and size of the job, availability of equipment, availability of parts and service, and final disposition of the equipment are some of the basic guidelines determining type of equipment to be used. The author recommends that equipment manufacturers not sell equipment overseas until it is proved in the field and it is a standardized model with adequate availability of parts in the foreign country
