- Summary:
- All elements of the basic Titan III system have been successfully operated at the midway point of the R and D flight program. The basic features demonstrated (flight with and without SRM's, quick and unrestricted reaction time, flexible flight programming) are proving to be the base on which a large family of building blocks can be erected, permitting rapid and inexpensive matching of tailored booster capability with specific mission objectives. Both the desirable features of the standard booster that can accomplish a wide variety of one-shot missions and the tailored, minimum cost booster for repetitive flight programs is available. This report presents a summary of the building block aspects of Titan III growth
