- Summary:
- Vehicular mechanics equations, which govern the dynamic weight transfer of two-wheel and four-wheel drive tractors, were derived Soil value equations, derived by Bekker, were applied to the equations to show the effect of soil parameters upon the dynamic weight transfer of the tractor. The resulting equations show that the dynamic weight transfer of two-wheel and four-wheel drive vehicles increases as drawbar pull, cohesion, angle of internal friction, modulus of cohesion, modulus of deformation, width of tire, and length of tire contact increases, and decreases as the terrain coefficient increases
