- Two types of additives are used to prevent icing in the carburetor caused by low atmospheric temperature and high humidity such as those encountered during winter or in unusual atmospheric conditions. The purpose of this study was to investigate surface active compounds rather than freezing point depressants with respect to antistalling properties.
