New automotive applications for low-profile bulk molding compound (BMC) and sheet molding compound (SMC) are here. Guide Lamp Division, GMC, will produce several million pounds of low-profile SMC and BMC for use on 1971 models. These parts are a result of intensive materials and design development programs.
