Summary:
Development and field test data are reported on a wide temperature range hydraulic fluid. The field test results demonstrated improved low temperature operation compared to fluids generally used for the hydraulic systems. This fluid is suitable for use where start-up temperatures are 2030 F below the low temperature capabilities of competitive fluids. At the maximum summer reservoir temperatures encountered in the field tests, performance was equivalent to the conventional fluids
