Summary:
Six years ago, Sud Aviation started the Concorde program in cooperation with British Aircraft Corporation Sud is now starting the Airbus program in cooperation with Deutsche Airbus and Hawker Siddeley Aviation. This paper is a broad survey of all the areas where the Concorde experience will be applicable. The benefits will be in the technical and industrial field and in the way of organizing the development of a major project in international cooperation.It is concluded that, far from being an undue burden for the manufacturer, the A-300 venture fits in remarkably with the Concorde and allows the optimum use of material and human resources available
