Summary:
While operational procedures for V/STOL aircraft have yet to be developed, it can be seen that the ground guidance system for landing must have greater flexibility and capability than previous systems. A greater diversity of flight paths in both planes than is presently available is required. In addition, airport size and location dictates equipment which is small and site insensitive.
