Over 170 flights totalling more than 1000 navigation hours were flown. The system demonstrated the requisite accuracy, reliability, and operational suitability for airline operation. An accuracy of 1.2 n. mile/hr (CEP) was attained for flights 47169, and the overall accuracy demonstrated in the program was 1.5 n. mile/hr (CEP).The flight evaluation of this prototype system was found to be extremely valuable for identifying and correcting system problems prior to production delivery
