- Telematics can be defined as utilizing wireless technology together with the Internet to deliver to vehicle occupants a variety of safety, security, productivity, information and entertainment services. To realize these Telematics services, we propose Mobile Gateway Technology that combine cell-phone or communication modules and a hands-free unit. This Mobile Gateway can gather information from the vehicle and connect to the M2M center and other voice portal centers, thus enabling multiple services such as an anti-theft system, vehicle status monitoring, driving behavior monitoring and service contents down-loading through internet
