Summary:
Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) technology have matured into a more effective platform than manned aerial vehicle on few missions. The design and development of UAV have resulted in a large inventory; thus placing logistic support challenges on the operators. To address the logistic challenges, the conceptual design of a multi-mission Re-configurable UAV' (RC-UAV) is being explored. The studies of RC-UAV provides the avenue for the development of UAV Design Decision Support' (UAV-DDS). In this paper, the identification of the suitable Software Development Tools' (SDT) for the construction of UAV-DDS is discussed. The SDT identification process provides the base for development of UAV-DDS system architecture
