Summary:
This paper discusses manufacturing and design integration technology. This includes software for the automation and integration of manufacturing and design information that can be used to create a digital enterprise. Specifically, tools that automate and seamlessly integrate Computer Aided Design (CAD) models with their design and manufacturing simulation will be addressed. In addition, tools that integrate simulations with live control and prototyping systems will be discussed. This automated integration with a remote control system enables the live prototyping of hardware, software, manufacturing, and/or manned systems in a single integrated visual simulation. These collaborative solutions are designed to integrate with various commercial CAD, simulation, product data, and manufacturing information software products
