- Toyota Prius is the first commercialized hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) in the world, while ADVISOR is one of the most widely used computer simulation tools for HEVs. We believe that it will be helpful to validate the model of Toyota Prius in ADVISOR against the measured data to reach a better understanding of the control strategy of the vehicle and to find out a good control strategy for HEVs. Therefore, in this paper the model of Toyota Prius in ADVISOR 3.1 is validated and revised according to the results of a few tests accomplished with a Japanese Prius
