- Summary:
- The results of simulation and preliminary test bed investigations of 170.A1 SI engine fuelled by means of liquid propane-butane (P-B) single point injection have been reported in article. The mathematics-physic model of P-B fuelling of SI engine has been elaborated and used to investigate and determine the phenomena occurring during air-fuel mixture building process. The model enables the comparison between classic mixer gas supply system and liquid gas injection system. The discussion of simulated and experimental results presented in article indicates the fuelling of SI engine by injection of liquid P-B as the way of significant increase of the engine efficiency
